Movie Channels on DStv Access
Access customers will get interesting movie channels such as M-Net Movies 4, Telemundo, CBS Reality, Discovery TLC Entertainment, TNT Africa, eMovies, eMovies Extra, kykNet Lekker, Africa Magic Epic, Real Time, Mzansi Wethu, Mzansi Bioskop, e.TV Extra, SET Asia, B4U Movies, ZeeTV, Star Plus, Sun TV, Star Vijay, Colors, and SET Max.
Sports Channels on Access
You won’t get a lot of sports channels on this package. So if you are into the sports business this package is not for you. Sports channels on Access include BLITZ, SS VARIETY 4, and TellyTrack. And as it stands, there is only one SuperSport channel which is SuperSport Variety 4.
Pricing
DStv Access is one of the cheapest packages in SA. But that low cost comes with a downside. If you want a package with lots of entertaining channels, then upgrade to a higher option such as Family or Compact.
Conclusion
You can only get the best out of Access if you are looking for News and documentaries. At the monthly subscription price of just 115 rand, it is one of the best packages for these programs.

Yes, you can. All you need to do is to subscribe to the DStv Access plan once your current subscription expires.

Why pay if you keep repeating old stuff over and over? Give at least a few new movies even if old. I watch maybe 7 channels the rest don’t interest me. So even family view to expensive may as well stay on Multichoice. So downgrade me then it’s affordable for a pensioner.

No, Hlengiwe. That feature is not yet available to DStv customers. On Access, you can only add three premium movie channels: M-Net Movies 1 (channel 104), M-Net Movies 2 (channel 106) and fliekNET (channel 149).
How do you do that?
Hi, Kuda. The Add Movies feature is available on myDStv app. You can use it to add 3 Premium movie channels to your current subscription. If you can’t do it yourself, talk to a DStv agent and they will help you activate the feature.
On access, we should make e.g. channel 161 and 157 and say additional channel and charge them separately, maybe say 40r each for the whole month. DStv would make money cause we don’t watch most channels.
