- Moving Houses Season 1 starts on Monday, 28 November at 20:00 on The Home Channel (DStv Channel 176).

Showmax on DStv Access
Just like other DStv packages, Showmax is available to DStv Access subscribers at the cost of R99. Adding Showmax (R99) to DStv access (R120) will bring your total subscription cost to R219. This is a great option for those who want more entertainment options on their Access package.
Adding Showmax to your Access account will save you more money than going for a premium DStv subscription. The caveat with using Showmax to complement DStv is that you will need data to watch movies and enjoy shows.
But with a smart device, such as a smartphone, PC, or smart TV, you can download your favourite movies and watch them anytime you want. The good thing about Showmax downloads is that once you’ve downloaded a movie or series, you can turn off your internet and watch it offline.
Upgrade and Downgrade
Access is a bit low in the pecking order and as such, you have four good options above it that you can upgrade to. You can upgrade to DStv Family at R309; Compact at R429; Compact Plus at R549; and you can also upgrade to DStv Premium at R839.
Renewals are easy and can be done at the same monthly cost once your subscription expires.
For downgrades, you can always downgrade your Access package to EasyView at R29 only.
How do I Upgrade or Downgrade?
To downgrade or upgrade from DStv Access to another package, visit any DStv store near you. But you can also do it on your own.
With My DStv App, you can perform upgrades and downgrades from your dashboard using a smartphone. Simply visit the “Account” tab on MyDStv app and follow the labels to change your package.
